More About Rubie
Before ABOGE: In 2016, she graduatedfrom Center for Landbased Learning Beginning Farmer and launched an herb farm in West Sacramento where she produced locally grown herbal teas. First Mother Farms will be moving to Marysville, California where she will expand to a full acre of lavender.
Education & Expertise: Having graduated with her B.A. in Sociology from California State University, Sacramento, this Sacramento-native, and full-time dreamer, is passionate about shaping the future of her hometown into an urban agriculture and arts hub.
Outside Of Work: When she is not farming, Rubie can be found practicing yoga or riding her bike around midtown.
